I had my Galaxy S4 connected to my car stereo via MHL to HDMI to RCA so that I can pull Netflix/Hulu/Youtube etc. and throw it on my car stereo's 7" screen. The quality of the image of course isn't HDMI but it works on 7". It also allowed me to use Google Maps and navigation from my phone to the receiver screen. Well, now I have the amazing LG G5. It has a USB-C connection on the bottom. I do have an adapter that allows me to use my micro USB cables but the MHL doesn't fit in the adapter and I get absolutely nothing on the A/V screen. I am ok with eliminating the HDMI portion as I am now understanding the G5 does not support HDMI. What on earth will I use to connect this phone to the RCA inputs on the stereo? Will USB-C output video? It is great that NFC and DNLA and Mirrorlink connections work but the stereo utilizes none of these methods for receiving a video signal. I also understand that the G5 is a new release and that accessories will come in time but I guess I don't understand USB-C.
Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks.
