G6 default email app showing sent emails in inbox?

Does anyone know how to ONLY show received emails in the G6's default email app in ox, instead of showing both sent and received? Very frustrating, as that is why there is a 'sent' folder. I have been trying to figure out how to change this since I first got my phone almost a month ago, but have not for the life of me been able to do so.

Hi, welcome to Android Forums.

The first thing that comes to mind is that my stock HTC mail app has an option to 'Always bcc me', if you have the same on the LG mail app check that it is 'Off'.

I'm not a recipient of my own emails, they are just showing up in my inbox instead of going to just my sent folder - I also did check the 'always cc me' option and it is off. I think it might have something to do with syncing? Because entries on a notepad-like app on my Macbook that is connected to my email account are now showing up in my email inbox as well for some reason - and these aren't even actual emails, they're just saved notes.
