try to charge, icon says its charging but 1% battery????? only had since christmas... ARRRRGHHH
 
This can be a common problem when the battery discharges below 5%. It may go into an extremely slow same mode where it only trickle charges in order to prevent damage to the battery. It will usually resume normal charging after several hours. If it does not, you may need to do a warranty exchange (seems you should still be covered).
