Galaxy A33 5G, One UI 7.0, Android Version 15.

After update to One UI 7.0 the phone won't switch off.
Help Please.
On the forum page you linked to, the phrase **“After update to One UI 7.0 the phone won't switch off”** appears as the original post in a new thread started by a user experiencing a problem after updating their Galaxy A33 5G to **One UI 7.0** (based on Android 15).

**Contextual Meaning**:
The user is reporting that, after installing the One UI 7.0 software update, their phone **refuses to power off**—either by normal means (like holding the power button) or potentially through the software power menu. This could point to:
- A bug introduced in the new firmware
- A change in how power functions are triggered
- A frozen UI element preventing shutdown

Since it's posted in a support-oriented subforum and includes a request for help, it’s likely meant to initiate troubleshooting and gather input from others who might be facing the same issue after updating.

If you'd like, I can help outline some steps they might try—or dig into whether this issue has affected others with One UI 7.0. Want to explore further?

Try pressing the volume down and the power button together for a few seconds. Another power off option is to pull down the quick settings panel and choosing the power off link. I find the second option easier on my S21.

The problem I found depressing the power and volume down together just turned my sound down completely two or three times before it brought me the power off option screen. User error no doubt but frustrating.

This is the power link I spoke of:

You will find it at the top of the quick settings pull down menu
