Galaxy ace...changed screen and lost all reception

Hi, just replaced entire housing covers snd screen on my galaxy ace but since putting back together it has lost all network reception and has only a circle with a line through it and says emergency calls only. When changing screen I managed to pop off and lose a little black plastic clip over the ribbon connector that connects the touch screen to the motherboard. Cut off a piece from the old ribbon and pushed it in on top of new one and touch screen working fine without the lost clip but wondrring if this could effect reception to phone. Any help would be great. Thanks

It sounds like you might have accidentally disconnected the antennas and then they did not get reconnected. In any case, there might not be any way to fix it without opening it back up and looking to make sure it's connected
