I know that the Galaxy Ace is renowned for lack of internal memory and so have very little in the way of apps. All that can go on the sd card is on it courtesy of App 2SD. I have been deleting texts, caches etc like crazy and even taken off a couple of apps that I'd rather have kept.
What seems to be using a huge amount of memory is my email. Even though I only use it for reading incoming yahoo mail and then delete the messages, the memory used keeps on increasing - currently showing 28MB of data! I have nothing in inbox, drafts, outgoing or sent.
I know that if I clear the data I will regain all that space BUT if I do that, I need to reset the whole email system again ie forwarding from yahoo etc. Is there a way to clear some of this data without having to set it all up again?
Many thanks for any advice!
