Help Galaxy Ace losing signal

Can anyone help.
I'm having problems where my Galaxy Ace on Talkmobile keeps randomly losing its signal. I can't send or receive texts, or make or receive calls. As soon as I reboot its fine again. It will continue being fine for a period of time then the same thing will happen.
I'm having to reboot roughly twice a day. It's very annoying as I've missed important calls & urgent text messages.
I know of 2 other people who have the same mobile on the same network and they are having exactly the same problems.

Thanks

Have you not found out what is causing the problem. I've spoken to Carphone Warehouse & Talkmobile support, who both were a bit vague. They suggested that there may be a problem with my phone & I could take it to Carphone Warehouse for them to look at. It may be away 3 weeks !!!!
I'm not convinced, particularly as I know of 3 others now that have similar problems.
Maybe it's a problem with memory or something, that reaches a limit before it fails. Or maybe it's Talkmobile that's a bit flakey.

Have you considered that the only people to report this problem are Talkmobile users? I think its best to let talkmobile take a look and try to fix this.
Its probably due to the changes they made to the samsung's stock firmware to personalize it for their brand that is causing the instability in the system.

Thanks ayush29k
I'm intending doing that. They say they'll lend me another mobile in the meantime.
Firstly, I need to alter my Yahoo!! Mail app so that it requires me to manually input a password, rather than having the password already in place in the password input box. For some reason, I can't find a way to do this at the moment.

Hi. Did you ever get this resolved with Talk Mobile? My friend has exactly the same issue with hers. It's driving her mad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi dhurst004
Yes, I did get it sorted. I took the mobile back to Carphone Warehouse, who this time said, 'Oh, I think we've got a fix for that !!'

They altered the 'Mobile Networks' setting to 'Use only 2G networks'.

This was about 4 weeks ago. Since then I've not had one problem at all. I suppose the internet access, etc. might not be as good, but I haven't noticed, as I don't use it away from a Wi Fi very often.

Hope this helps.

Richard
