I have a new Samsung Galaxy Avant and I want to setup tasker like my old phone, specifically to turn off the Keyguard when I'm home.

It works, until the "Settings > Lock screen > Lock automatically" kicks in and turns it back on. Ive tried making another tasker action that turns Keyguard off again say, 10 seconds after the screen turns off, but that doesn't work and the Keyguard stays on. I'm not against rooting the phone, but I don't think it's needed since the Keyguard does stay off in the short time period between the display turning off and lock automatically triggering.

I'm guessing Lock automatically is a Samsung thing. Is there a way around this, or to turn off Lock automatically?

That doesn't solve my problem. I might have explained poorly.

I don't necessarily want to turn off the keyguard, I want to temporarily disable it while the tasker profile (connected to home wifi) is active. I've been partially successful in doing that. settings > lock screen > screen lock > none completely removes the keyguard and requires entering a new pattern and pin when it is turned back on.

The lock automatically setting is what's causing the problem. Lock automatically can be set anywhere from immediately to 30 minutes (but not to off) and when it triggers it re-enables the keyguard despite tasker having just disabled it.

I've tried making a second activity to disable the keyguard a second time, after lock automatically does its thing, but I've had zero success with that approach.
