Help Galaxy Core LTE - Automatic Sync Emails

It looks like I must have changed a setting or something because I no longer automatically receive emails and notification of them. I've gone into the email settings, and the options under manage accounts, sync settings, Sync Email, Master sync has been disabled with check box, and under sync schedule it starts at manual, 5 min, etc. There doesn't appear an automatically sync emails.
Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know the most frequent sync available is every 5 minutes - that is automatic - every 5 minutes. (If you want to sync immediately press the circle/arrows on the app home page.) You should be able to select 5 minutes, the checkbox for "sync email" and the checkbox for email notifications
