Galaxy g3 won't power up

[Android Question]

Removed and reinstalled battery in Galaxy g3. Now it won't power up. Plugged in the charger and the battery came up on the screen showing the percentage of charge. When I press the on button nothing happens. Before I removed the battery there was a download running that I could not delete. Samsung Galaxy g3, carrier is Bell.

what kind of download were you doing?
if you were trying to apply a system update and you pulled the battery this could be very bad more info needed
