Help galaxy keeps restarting!? help??

so a couple days ago my galaxy s died on me and after a few hours i started charging it. i turn it on, it goes from the att screen to the galaxy s screen to my lock patter screen. i unlock my phone and a few min later it freezes. vibrates a couple times blacks out and turns back on to my lock pattern screen. i can not get it out of this loop. any ideas on what to do??

Sounds like your launcher is crashing. Have you tried using an alternate launcher such as LauncherPro or ADW? Usually when it blacks out and double vibrates it means that process has crashed.
