Ive been trying to solve this problem for over a year without any results.
so here it goes, I have recently bought my I9200 in China before I came back home and to my surprise ( well i expected that after previous story i had with Galaxy tab) i found there is totally no support for google. No play store and any attempts of installing gmail or play store were ending up in fail. I downloaded plenty of OFFICIAL roms from different regions hoping to go around this pathetic Chinese government-childish blocade of google... unfortunately during any attempt of flashing it through ODIN i keep getting ext4 fail error in odin... im using 3.07v so it shouldnt be a problem...
The point is that Chinese phones have some sort of regional lock which prevents flash of unauthorized software (probably different partitioning)
Does anyone remove this blockade or go around and flash an international ROM into a mainland made machine?
without results i only ended up with knox warranty void 0x1 and lost my warranty for good (no need for that **** tho)
question is...
how to flash any other official rom over this f****ing chinese region locked Samsung full of bloaware and useless stuff ?
everything is stock and official i also noticed in download mode it says:
Qualcomm secureboot: Enabled
also download mode is fully Chinese
The software i am currently using is
