Galaxy Mini 2 Left headphone almost no sound

I have a galaxy mini 2 and playing music used to work fine but then the left speaker wasn't playing. (It actually was but extremely quietly). Anyone have a way to fix this? Or even know where to find a sound settings that allows you to balance the stero speakers? (In the default sound options it only lets me choose silent mode, vibration, play sounds on button text etc. nothing to with music or anything).

Have you tried using a different set of earbuds/earphones to make sure the problem isn't in the earbuds?

Earbuds, especially cheaper ones, are notoriously fragile devices.
