Galaxy Nexus music in my car (Help)

I need some help. This is my very first smartphone. So I am new to them.

I have this car stereo. Pioneer DEH-2200UB it has 2 ports. 1 is USB and other is Aux.

My question is. When I plug in my Galaxy Nexus through USB to my stereo. The stereo just says N/A USB.

So I was wondering. If I can plug in a AUX cable 3.5mm Male to Male.
I found one on Amazon. My first post, so I can't send a link to it.

Will I get the same results? I am trying to stream Pandora through my phone to the speakers of my car.

2nd Question is. If the AUX cable does work. Will I be able to charge my phone through AUX the same way when it is plugged into USB? What if I just plug Aux and USB at the same time? Can I charge and play music through AUX and charge through USB?

Sorry all these questions might be stupid to some of you here. I just really don't know how this works.

Plugging in the aux will play your music but not charge.

You can charge your phone via usb car charger and play your music via aux at the same time, yes.
