Galaxy Note 2 charging extremely slowly

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is charging extremely slowly most of the time. Tried various micro-USB cables and chargers. The problem is the same in all cases. However, at times, charging is normal though rare. Charging used to be absolutely no problem earlier.

What kind of charger are you using? There are 2.1amp chargers on the market. It will decrease the life of your battery but it would charge faster.

Thanks for your prompt response.

I have been using both Samsung Original wall charger and original cable as well as compatible chargers and cables. They behave alike. The point is before such problem occurred, it used to work well without any complaint.

Is this due to physical problem with the phone, charger or cable ? or there is something wrong with the updated Android 4.1.2 ?

How long is long?

How much longer is it taking now than before?

I just dock my phone at night and let it charge, could you do that and not worry about it?

You might want to join forums and go to the Note 2 folders and see if others have had similar issues and how they resolved them.

Had a Similar problem. My Note-II was taking 6-8 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
Visited the Samsung Service Center and they advised me to change the data cable.

Bought a new one and tested it there itself. The problem in now solved.
Charging time back to 2-3 hours.
