Galaxy Note 2

[Android Question]

I down loaded an mp3 and it is listed among ringtones on my Galaxy Note 2, but even though I have selected it to be my ring tone it only plays the old one I chose before. How do I get the new one to play?

Have you rebooted your phone (power off and on again)?
