Zooming the Note 4's camera is easy, if not totally apparent. There is no zoom meter or slider directly in the camera display, but the Note 4 uses the intuitive pinch-to-zoom function found in many other apps.
That's all it takes. Simply pinch-to-zoom on the camera viewfinder in the app, and you can control exactly how close your focus is on your subject. To zoom out, pinch in the opposite direction.
