Help Galaxy Portal Repair

My Galaxy Portal crashed last week. It had probs with screen freezing, battery not charging and no sound. It has been repaired and I should get it back Tomorrow. I have been told I have had a software update: 5700xxik2. Is that familiar to any of you?

Well it has been returned, and guess what? Still faulty! The screen is still juddery and broken up sound on ringtones etc. The battery is ok though.

It is being sent back again but that will be the last that I see of it as I am getting a new phone Tomorrow. Not sure what the firmware will be though.

Good luck with it, hope it proves to be more reliable for ya, what's the new one, another portal?

Yes it is. I guess it will be the same firmware as the old one. Still I am happy to get a new phone but would like to have 2.1, 1.5 is pretty buggy.

1.5 I'd pretty laggy at times, its easy enough to upgrade the firmware though, and 2.1 is worth it.
