Help Galaxy pro doesn't show battery full when charging full

I just bought galaxy pop 2 days before I have noticed yesterday when green battery display gets full means battery has been charged but a small charging display continues

one more thing whenever i connect my phone to usb port of my laptop it shows battery is charging?
so can we charge our battery without charger just connect to our laptop?

Even when the green bar is full it can still continue to charge untill it reaches the max, the phone has over charge protection so it will stop once it reaches max, also if you are using a battery intense application for example being in a phone call while using your GPS it will charge forever while doing that.

Yes you can charge it by just pluggin it into any usb powered port (laptops, computers adaptors, car usb socket)
