Help Galaxy S wont boot at all!

After a failed update, my galaxy S no longer boots, I have looked online about getting to splash screen. Mine doesn't do anything. Ive tried a different battery and hard reset. Recovery mode doesnt work, download mode doesn't work. I have no more ideas.
Can anyone help?
P.S Ive emailed samsung but since my phones a year old, they wont do anything.

Are you familiar with ADB ? Do a little search on ADB.

If your phone tries to turn on by pressing the power button and is still detected by a PC as a USB device, you can use ADB to force reboot it into Recovery/Download mode
