Android Question

Hello,
I have an AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket which I cannot access anymore after "too many pattern attempts".
The device apparently is not connected to WiFi (no data network as I cancelled my service with AT&T).
- I have tried using my google and youtube accounts with my user id and password without sucess.
- I have also gotten into recovery mode but the menu does not have "install zip from sd card" option so I cannot run Aroma file manager so I can delete the "gesture" file.
- I have also tried to use MoboRobo along with command line to try to enable WiFi but my device does not have USB debugging enabled.
I looked around in the internet, youtube and I also browse the android forum but I don't seem to be able to find a procedure on how to go past the "too many pattern attempts" message.
Does anybody have a suggestion that I can use?
I certainly don't want to lose my information by performing a hard reset.
I welcome your comments and suggestions.
Daniel
