Galaxy S2 STOP apps

Hi all

I have a Galaxy S2 and wanted to know if there is a free app available that clears all running apps?

I am sure when I had my last Android phone there was one but for the life of me I cannot remember the name.

I want to see what is running and clear them off

Thanks Simon x

The app was probably called Advanced Task Killer, but it's not needed on Android 2.1 and up. You're best to leave task management to Android itself though as stopping stuff that supposed to be running can have negative impact on battery life and performance.

If you head to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Running Services, it gives you the same list though.

Thanks so much for the quick informative reply, I will take your advice and leave it to the phone, Thanks very much
