My gs2 always charged fast, about 1% per minute. One night i put it to charge like i always do but woke up with it having 2% before it died. I tried charging it but it wasnt charging. Maybe 1% for 30 minutes. It went like this for a few days and sometimes it would die while on the charger. Then just recently i've been getting a "charging paused. Voltage too high" message which i had never seen before. I also noticed that my bttery stats showed that android os was using 78% of the battery!!!! What does that mean? I read forums that said that if i factory reset the phone, it might help but it didnt so today i bought a new battery and boom. Nothing !!!!!! Its still the same! What do i do?! This is very frustrating . Thank you so much for helping

Welcome to Android Forums.

It sounds like your wall charger has gone bad. Have you tried a different charger? Possibly could be the usb cable also. If neither of those options resolve your issue it may be that the charging circuit in your phone has gone bad. A work around for this would be to get an external battery charger.
