i have a tmobile samsung galaxy s2. when i was on gifboom, i tried to make a gif with flash on & it froze. when my phone normally freezes (happens a few times a week) i normally just keep pressing the power button to lock & unlock it until my lock screen comes up. I tried it this time but it just shut off & stayed black.
i tried to turn it back on & thought it was fine because it vibrated. it wasnt. it stays stuck on the screen with samsung & the home buttons lit up. ive tried many times to take my sim card, memory card, & battery out with no success. i also tried the soft/hard reset; again no success.
my laptop will recognize the fact that a device is plugged in to the computer, but when i tried to connect it to kies air, it said that this format was not supported.
it will not go into reboot or download mode. when i hold those buttons down, it continuously vibrates & when i let the buttons go, it starts up until the samsung screen where it freezes.

PLEASE HELP.

i dont know what else to do. im a young girl, so like everyone else im very addicted to my phone. im not very technologically advanced so please please help me.

So, on the Galaxy S3 that I have, to get into recovery mode is achieved by holding Home and VolumeUp and Power at the same time. When you feel it vibrate, just let go of the powwwer button, but keep holding home and volume up. I think that's where you went wrong. You should be able to clear data and cache and then let the phone boot up normally.
