Hi, everyone,
So I just noticed this really frustrating problem today. My phone is plugged in yet still losing power. The AC power adapter and the cable are original and work great with my friend's Galaxy S3 Neo. There are no apps running that would cause battery drain except the screen, the android OS, etc. as seen in battery settings but it's all the same as it was with the problem absent. I wiped the phone's cache, restarted it, powered it off, took the battery out - nothing. The LED is red as usual when the phone's plugged in, there's the little bolt icon on the battery. The battery itself is fine too - I got a replacement a couple of months ago. I ran an app that gives charging info and such, and it gave the following info: AC plugged, discharging, temperature: 37.5 Celsius, Voltage: 3650mV, mA flow: -225mA (-10.71%/h).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try? I have a feeling the microUSB port might be busted. Yet it seems to be working at first sight (the red LED on).
