Help Galaxy S3 Exchange Problems

Hi All,

I have installed Exchange on my S3 and it seemed to be working fine but now I am not able to read my emails in full? The text gets cut off mid sentance so I cant view the remainder of the email or anything?? Anyone able to advise on a solution?

Thanks

I am having the same exact issue with my GS3. I have been searching for days and this is the 1st post that I found with this issue. I have deleted my exchange account and put it back in and that did not work. I also changed the settings to show 100k of an email. The default was 3k. That did not work either. My boss has the GS3 also and his emails are showing fine. My gmail is also showing fine, it is jsut the Exchange account...very annoying, weird and frustrating.

Hi Vudoox,

Have you had any luck as yet? I am the same my Gmail and other emails are working fine but my exchange is not showing entire emails and cutting them off and its very annoying, maybe my phone is a faulty unit??

If you leave outlook closed on your desktop the cut off email will not happen. Samsung had an update the other day and some people are reporting that is fixed the issue. You will have to delete your exchange account and put it back on the GS3 after you get the update.

I got the update last week but have not re-done my exchange account on the GS3 yet. Hopefully it will all be resolved. The link below is what i have been following to get info on this issue.

Thanks vudoox I still dont have an update here so I hope it will come through soon, Vodafone the carrier I am with have been looking into this issue and from what I can tell this is the first case they have come across.

Thanks for your help appreciate it.

Sorry to bother you again Vudoox but when you installed exchange email on your SG3 does it automatically change your security settings so that you have to have a pin to unlock your phone?

I just got an OTA update this morning. It appears to have fixed the issue. My baseband version is now L710vplg2. It was L710VPLF9.

Also no security setting did not change to pin to unlock when i added my exchange account. Try to look around to see if there is a manual way to get any updates available. I am on Sprint in the US and the OTA updates are usually dependent on when the carrier sends it out. Sometimes there is a manual option if you dont want to wait.

I did I am with Vodafone in Australia na dmy baseband says I9300TDULF2? I did a firmware update that i saw on that blog posted but still hasnt fixed the issue even after I have deleted and re-installed exchange. Also the security settings are still disabled except for the pin number.

You are correct the problem is still there. It was fine all day yesterday and this morning it came back. Not sure where to go from here. Maybe we have to wait till we get Jelly Bean 4.1 for it to be fixed. what a pain in the butt.
