Galaxy S3 on Boost/Virgin Mobile

First post here.. sorry if I'm not in the right place. I used to have Boost Mobile awhile back, had them for years. I was getting tired of their slow service, though. And made the jump to At&t GoPhone for the Galaxy Express. Great phone, pretty similar to the S3. I get 4G LTE service virtually everywhere. No mistakes there. But you don't really get much data, though. 2.5 GB. Once you go past that, your screwed. You can't use data on your phone and have to buy more.

Boost is now offering a plan for Android with Unlimited texts, calling, and 5 GB of data, for the same price I'm paying for my GoPhone with At&T. And even with another plan, if you go past your 2.5 GB of data, you can use your data still, it's just slower.

Boost/Virgin/Sprint now has 4G LTE in my area.... I was wondering, how fast/consistent is their 4G LTE? Does it work well enough to make a switch like this? Or is it constantly switching back and forth to the 3G? Supposedly there's LTE all around here. And you can pretty much still find the S3 available for purchase from both Boost/Virgin and is what I will probably be going with.

Just depends on your area. Sprint has good 4G LTE like everyone else lol. I have an S3 from Straight Talk on Sprint's towers. Depending where I am, I get 20-30 Mbits/s. Sprint isn't that popular in my area. East Tennessee is ancient when it comes to internet and technology.
FYI for $45 Straight Talk offers unlimited text and talk and 3GB of data on 4G LTE, at which point you may just get throttled to 3G if you go over. I've never been throttled from my 4G yet.

Sprint is decent around here. There certain buildings I would go into and my service would go out. That never happens with at&t though. For the most part besides that i would usually get signal. Their voice services always worked. One thing that I've noticed about at&t, a lot of times I don't get texts/calls. And its really annoying. Never had any problems like that with boost

Another advantage of boost however is they are getting the upgrades I believe to Android KitKat! I don't believe anyone cares about At&t prepaid really, so I'm sure I'm not gonna get an update lol
