Galaxy S3 or Nexus 4 or wait?

I'm eligible for a full upgrade from my Evo 3D.

I was set on getting the S3 on Black Friday until I saw the Nexus last week.

I know the Nexus isn't available on Sprint as of now, but I'm assuming it will sometime early next year.

I don't need alot of internal storage, nor do I need LTE as I live somewhere that won't be getting LTE anytime soon.

I don't ever upgrade early, so I want to maximize my upgrade to the best technology available. I know we are in a time when that changes monthly, but its very important since this will be my phone for two years.

Note, I don't use roms or modify my phones. I do use data and texting primarily.

Any personal advice or suggestions on what I might consider?

Yes......get the device that appeals to you the most. You're asking people their opinions and you can best believe you'll get a lot of them because we're a forum full of folks who love our phones and gadgets.

Some are completely partial to Nexus; others the SIII. I don't think I'd be helping you in the least bit because telling you want I like about my is really just that........me liking what I like about the phone I may or may not keep for the next 2 years.

On top of asking about 2 specific phones, you'll also get responses from people who either don't have either one or have never touched either one. So be prepared to hear about phones that never crossed your radar.

No one can make this decision for you and you knew better than us what your needs/wants are. Who knows, by the time the Nexus you're speaking of is released something else may tickle your fancy.

They so nailed that one. I love my phone and I am like you don't do roms or anything special but Web and txt so I am sure any phone would work for me. I am just partial to HTC. That is just me. Go play with what you think you like and play with other ones too. You might find you like something that you never considered in the first place.

I would get the LG Nexus 4. Better software, looks better and classier and you don't ever have to worry about Android updates.

The Samsung is still a great phone. That's why they're still selling like hotcakes. However I would get the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 over the SGS3 any day if I had the choice right now.

I've about talked myself out of the GS3. My wife has the GS2 and I just can't stand touch wiz.

As far as the note, I don't know if I can handle that size.

The Nexus is what I want, just don't know how long till I can get it for Sprint.

My upgrade is killing me and my patience!

Well the new TouchWiz version is much better. More functionality.

The Nexus 4 is also a good option. I would get that instead then.

The Nexus 4 has an excellent screen, and most importantly, the best software on the market.
