Galaxy S3 - replace SIM card tray?

My old galaxy s3 wont read SIM card,think my brother broke it!! Is it easy to replace the SIM card tray? I can pick them up real cheap online and I watched 2 videos on youtube,seems pretty straight forward. But I've never done anything like this before so would I be better giving it in to a repair shop?Its not under warranty,over 3 years old
