Help Galaxy S3 Skype Auto-Answers even when unchecked

I posted the following to the Skype Community forums under the Android section.
The format of the post is as Skype community suggests here:
http://community.skype.com/t5/Android/How-to-create-a-good-Android-issue-report/td-p/211384

I am cross-posting it here for some additional exposure and hopefully some informed commentary from the androidforums community.

Problem Description

Auto Answer in the Skype settings screen is UNCHECKED.
Device will auto answer without ringing.
I just suddenly hear the other end talking and they can hear me

Cannot easily reproduce it, there is no periodic happenstance.
But I would say that it happens at least once in 10 received calls.

The conditions I noticed when it last answered:
Device lock screen is set to Swipe only.

The device was connected to a 12v charger plug --> usb cable in the car.
The car was off; the charger was not providing power.
The charger cable does not have a resistor so it is not a "dock mode" cable, Phone was not in Dock Mode.

Device was connected only to WiFi and was running on batteries
I was also signed into skype on my home laptop at the time.
The device was connected (via WiFi) to the same home LAN that my laptop was.
I had rejected the incoming call on the laptop.
Went out to the car to find that my father was talking over the device.
There was no video coming from the far end, though he always tries to make video calls
I did not notice whether my end was sending video to the far end, but I don't think so.

Conditions from some previous instances:
Instance 1: Phone was not connected to a cable, was sitting face up on a nightstand
Instance 2: Phone was in a leather hip holster

In all cases, the phone screen was locked.

PLEASE HELP!

This is really scary and invades my privacy.
I have not done further testing from other skype accouts to try to reproduce it yet.

Welcome to AndroidForums.com PartTimeGeek. I agree, that does sound creepy. I haven't used the Skype app myself so I am not much help directly. I did move thread here to the Android Applications section of AF as I think it is more likely a skype question than an S3 question, and more folks that may be able to help will see it here. Good luck and I hope you get a solution.:)
