Galaxy S3 Slight Lag/Jump When Swiping Across Home Screen??

Hi, Ive recently been having a problem with my Galaxy S3 in that it wouldnt send texts sometimes until i restarted the phone and had to keep doing it so I went to a phone repair shop and they said they opened it up but couldnt find anything wrong with it so I did a factory reset.

I have noticed though that whenever I goto install an app or update an app as Im swiping across the home screen screens there tends to be a bit of a lag/Jump til the app has installed/updated..It happens as soon as the app updates or is installing then goes back to normal. is this normal or is my phone screwed? Does it happen to anyone else?

If it's only doing it during the time the app is installing/updating then I wouldn't worry to much about it, the phone is doing a lot when it's installing that stuff.

To be honest my phone is rooted and I have a clean copy of Jelly Bean install (no touchwiz) so I can't give you a comparison. My phone makes an S3 running ICS w/ touchwiz look like a snail.

I am sure someone will be able to post and tell you how their phone reacts in similar conditions.

THESE FORUMS SUCK! simple as that. Last time i ever use this.
Ive posted 2 threads in 2 days asking the same thing and no one has been able to help/answer my question properly.

its not a problem, all phones do lag sometimes, might be some app that you have installed is reason for the lag.

If think I may know the answer to your problem but given you've probably left these sucky forums I guess you'll never find out the answer. :)

this guy is an idiot, he think some magically finger tap combination will fix his "slight lag" when hes is installing apps

it doesnt happen with the iPhones lol...especially on the new iPhone. But does your phone do the same??

Unfortunately I think what you are describing as far as lag WHILE installing something is pretty normal. As far is "it doesn't do that on an iPhone" I will have to disagree with. I just updated the wife's new iPhone and it was lagging so bad I couldn't open an app while installing the updates to another one... The screen swipe was pretty solid but it still lagged when moving to the search menu....

Sorry you feel these forums suck but people tend not to answer problems they don't feel are problems to begin with. The only advice I can offer is to try a different Launcher screen and to remember different OSs offer different strengths and weaknesses.

Does your phone lag on swipe too, when installing/updating apps? or can you please test it for me?
