Help Galaxy S3 Stuck on Logo

I went to update my S3 and I waited for a while. I turned it off and back on. It just keeps going back to the Samsung logo. I know a solution but it will delete my pictures and stuff. Anyone know any other way? It would save my life. Thank you very much.

Hello and also welcome!
Have you tried to boot into recovery and wipe the cache only, then reboot?
Recovery mode:
First, turn your Galaxy S3 off. Now, press and hold the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons until you see the Samsung screen. Release the Power button but continue to press Home and Volume Up until you are brought to the stock recovery mode on the Galaxy S3

Just to add to Mikestony's post above. "Recovery" can be a pain to get into. It will eventually go I assure you if indeed you have difficulty. Once in recovery use volume up and down to navigate and the home key to select. Clearing the cache almost certainly will get the phone rebooted and working again and will not delete any of your files, or media etc. Be warned a "factory reset" from recovery mode (and indeed from the Settings menu in a working phone) will.
