Help Galaxy s3 won't update via kiss or the device's update

Hello everyone!

So I bought my s3 about a week ago, and as soon as I opened it it gave me a notification that I have an update.

The device is not rooted. and this is his software info:

Model number: GT-I9300
Android version: 4.0.4
Baseband version: I9300XXLF5
Kernel version:
3.0.15 - 705505-user
se.infra@sep-65#1
SMP PREEMPT Mon-Jun 11 22:24:05 KST 2012
Build number: IMM76D.I9300XXALF6

I updated, and it downloaded a 93.9 MB file, when it ended I pressed install, it rebooted the device and took me to a screen where the android robot is lying on his back (download mode?) anyway, at the bottom of the screen was as follows:

cwm-based recovery v5.5.0.4 : : cf-v1.4
E:invalid command argument
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

After a couple of tries with the same results, I tried it again and it suddenly told me there is no update.

I tried updating via Kies, but when I open the software on a mac and in boot camp I get this message:
"Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies."

The next day I tried to update again via the device it self, and it again show me there is a 93.9 mb update, and when I try to install it, it gives me the error I wrote down above.

I'm new to Android, can anyone help?

I've put your problem in red. You cannot apply an official update via CWM recovery, only via the official stock recovery your phone originally came with. Either wait until someone puts out a rom with the new update or push the stock recovery via adb them apply.

Thank you sir, I'm extremely new to Android, so doing what you suggested is pretty much gibberish to me, but I will try to read and find out exactly what this means, thanks for pointing me to the right direction!
