Galaxy S3

[Android Question]

I have a Galaxy S3 with AT&T. Can I use this phone in England with their SIM card or do I need to purchase a phone when I get there. I don't want to use Int'l roaming.

AT&T version of S3 (SGH-I747[m]) supports GSM frequency used in UK (900, 1800MHz) and WCDMA frequency used there (2100MHz), if the phone is unlocked (many US phones aren't, you have to ask AT&T for the unlock code to use it with other SIM card), so you can use it in UK.
