Galaxy s4 camera

[Android Question]

I have the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and an 18month old baby. I want to be able to take in focus pictures of him but he moves and the camera takes so long to auto focus that he is blurry while everything else is in focus.

Please can some one tell me how to turn off the auto focus as I was able to with the S3!! The photos of my moving baby on the S3 were mostly perfect so I am very disappointed with the S4

Hi, I believe the camera app does not have an option to disable auto focus. However, there are several alternatives on the Play Store that have manual focus. Personally, I like Camera Zoom FX. Maybe one of these would be worth trying.
