Root Galaxy S5 Brick, Any advice is more than welcomed

I was trying to root my METRO PCS galaxy s5 SM-G900T1 (Lolipop 5.1.1) using the CF-Auto-Root method. I tried this method because it worked on a friends S5. Everything went ok on Odin I got the pass message, but when the phone tried to boot It got stuck on the Metro PCS screen. If somebody has any idea of what can I do please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried clearing the cache partition in Recovery Mode. See #1.3 of S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide
 
Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried that already. I'm downloading the stock firmware to see it that helps. Btw I can't boot into safe mode.

I did not ask you to boot into Safe Mode! Hopefully a flash of stock firmware will sort things out.
 
I know, but I tried clearing cache and nothing. Then I tried to get into safe mode, but nothing, so my last option is to flash stock firmware.
 
Ironass thanks for your help. I flashed stock firmware and is working again, but with not root. Do you know if there is a way to root 5.1.1 metro pcs version? Thanks

Flashing the stock firmware, which has a stock kernel, will un-root you. The only method that I know of to root the G900T1 is with chainfire's CF-Auto-Root kernel. However, whether this is compatible with the new Android 5.1.1 firmware is another matter. Perhaps you should post a question on his forum that I have linked you to.
 
Instead of starting up a new thread, I would rather post on this one since its related. So I wanted to root my phone but I failed big time. I think I flashed the T-Mobile TAR file on Odin instead of the MetroPCS one. Now I'm just stuck at the start screen, it wont get passed that. I tried flashing the stock firmware but that doesnt help either. I also tried to wipe date/factory reset, but no luck either. Its just on the black screen which says Samsung Galaxy S5. I might be doing something wrong, not sure. USB debugging might be turned off, but since the phone can't get anywhere, I can't even turn that on. Help?

After flashing, you may need to do a cache partition wipe as per #1.3 of S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide
 
I don't know f I should give you the baseband version, configuration version or build number so you can id my phone. It is a Samsung, Verizon, Lollipop 5.0.
Once you do id it, could you create a link that would allow me to root my phone. I have so much unwanted bloatware in it.
I have seen some videos on YouTube but I think the more specific the phone is to the process the better chance of success.
Once rooted should I shut off updates so they do not un root my phone, or, should I get firmware updates which won't bother root?
 
Thank you for the information. That's it for me with big red. I hope someone does bypass them and hate to tell you what I am thinking of their propriety dealings and attitude.

Btw, could you tell me if backing up my Galaxy S5 with Google will back everything like internal settings etc. or is it just for apps and email and superficial things?

I checked back up and reset to back up all to google severs. This seems to be the easiest way. I did everything your forum said to do and phone runs as good as can be expected due to the obvious warm battery and short battery life -the article states why and I beyond the users ability to fix this issue. Where the heck is 5.1 that's supposed to remediate these issues.
Still ticked off about big red!
