Galaxy S5 GPS Issues

The GPS won't go off. Have tried the reboot, hard reboot, the multi button thingies. No change. Keep flashing and driving my up the wall. Please help, somebody.

could be to do with Google now tracking you, have you tried changing location mode from gps only to high accuracy or power saving

I have. Still on. Have deleted apps including Google play. Now there's nothing tracking but still on.

When I wove the switch from on to off of just bounces back and stays on.

Turn the phone off using the power key followed by the power off option
Press and hold the Home, Power and Volume up key until the handset vibrates
When the handset vibrates, let go of the Power button
When the recovery screen appears release the other two buttons.
Use the Volume down key to select wipe cache partition
Select with the Power button
