Help Galaxy s5 mms and facebook

I have sprint and have a Samsung galaxy s5... for the last few weeks I have been having issues with mms and Facebook messages. I get mms messages HOURS later and can only receive facebook notifications and messages when I actually open the apps. When I am on WiFi I have no issues with Facebook but mms still doesn't come in until hours later. I have went through all of the settings I can think of and nothing. HALP!

Sounds like a network problem, not a phone problem. It seems that your internet is not working when the phone is in sleep mode. Did you install a battery saver app? Or activate power saving if it's built in?

I've contacted sprint and they "put in tickets" and nothing happens. Where I live I do not get a 4G lte connection ... I traveled this weekend to an area where I get lte service and Facebook messages and notifications came through... I can get the mms messages if I manually download them. And the setting to auto down load is on.... not sure what u need to do... my boyfriend has a Samsung galaxy s5 as well same plan same sprint network and has no issues .
