Help Galaxy s5 not sending texts

So, last night, my phone updated and this morning, it was completely fine.

After school around 4 was when I started getting notifications that my messages weren't sent. Every once in a while they would send, but now, they completely will not send.

I am unsure what the version the system update was or how to find out. But if anyone is able to help me with this ASAP, that would be really great!

Which version of the S5 do you have (e.g. which country and which carrier)?

You can check your current version via Settings > About.

It could be just a coincidence, and the cause is a network problem. It might be worth speaking to your carrier in case. That would be quite a coincidence, but if it was working immediately after the update and not now that doesn't sound like the update simply broke sending, so it's worth checking.
