Hi all

I have galaxy s5. It has inbuilt fm radio app which plays fm channel. but when i use spirit ul (spirtit fm), there is no sound. Also i cannot change frequencies. Is there any way to play spirit fm in my device? There is a lot of setting tools. Can i have to do some change?

Thx for help

Spirit only supports certain phones, including some Samsungs, as the S5 is a fairly new device, very likely doesn't support it(yet). There's an XDA Devs thread about it somewhere.

Are you certain it has an FM radio, rather than an internet radio app?

Most S5's do not have FM hardware, so there's no chance Spirit will work on these. According to the developer of Spirit FM the one version which might have it is the Sprint model (US CDMA network). So if you have one of those and it does have a real FM radio I suspect that the developer would be interested in hearing from you.

(Sorry if I seem to doubt you when you say it has FM, but I've met plenty of posts in the past from people using different devices who don't realise that their radio app is actually doing internet streaming rather than real FM reception. Hence I have to ask).

P.S. Welcome to the forum :)
