Galaxy S5 - unknown error -24

Hi, I'm having an issue when installing some apps. This first occured last week when I couldn't install any app at all. I would either get the message 'insufficient storage space' (the phone was basically new with a 16gb SD card also so was plenty of space) or more often the message would be 'unknown error during application installation "-24". I rang Samsung who where a bit baffled and basically said the phone needed repairing already. I did a full factory reset and it solved the issue for a week but now it's happening again. This time it will let me install some apps but I'm having a problem with 'weather underground' at the minute. These errors are happening during an initial install of the app, i.e I have not had that app on the phone previously. I have tried clearing the Cache etc but I'm still getting the error -24. Any ideas?
Thanks

The amount of external SD card space has nothing to do with insufficient storage - apps install to internal storage. (Even if you have an app that instlls all apps to external storage, they first install to internal storage, then get moved to ecxternal storage - so you always have to have sufficient free internal space to install the app.)

As far as error 24, thta usually means that the app was previously installed, it was partially uninstalled, but parts of it are still there, and you can't install over an existing version. (Usually you uninstall the app but don't clear the data, so the data folder is still there. When the new installation tries to install the data folder, it's a security violation [the new installation doesn't have rights to the folder the old installation created], so the installation fails. Deleting the app's data folder [which requires root] usually fixes it.)

Thanks Rukbat. The phone still has 8GB internal storage available as well. It was the first time I had tried installing that particular app. It's not rooted so I guess I will just have to do without that app unless I do another factory reset which I don't fancy as it takes so long to reorganise all my apps into folders. Unless you know of someway to save the folder layout and contents on the home screens.
