Help galaxy s6 cannot use flashlight with rear camera

hello,

when my phone updated to andriod 6.0, i could no longer use the flashlight with the rear camera unless i was taking a flash photo. if i turn the flashlight on then open the rear camera, it immediately turns off. if the camera is already open, it just does not turn on at all. it turns on while i use the front camera but just not the back. ive searched everywhere and no one else seems to have this problem (or posted about it). is there any way to fix this? i've tried 3rd party flashlight apps but no luck. i used this to take close up pictures in the dark. the regular flash doesnt stay on long enough to focus.
