Help Galaxy s6 deleting emails

Hi, my galaxy s6 will not permanently delete emails. I go through and check every single one and then press delete. It claims that they are deleted but then within minutes they are back into my inbox. I have even tried deleting them from my trash, but they still find a way back into my inbox. This is highly annoying. Anyone know how to fix it?0

This seems to be a common problem with the Samsung email app. It apparently fails to communicate setting deletions properly with some email servers. I haven't yet seen a good fix.

Best I can offer is to try using another email client. AquaMail, K-9, Type Mail, Maildroid, Cloud Magic, My Mail, etc etc are just a few of many to choose from.
