Hi folks.

I'm New to the site so hello. :-)

Just got my s6 edge, fantastic phone but I'm having massive issues streaming Showbox to my tv.

I used to be able to use allshare on my s4 but it seems it's not this phone!

My tv is a Samsung PS51E6500.

When ever I attempt to watch a movie, there is no way of wireless sending it to the goggle box. Like I've said, my s4 was no trouble at all.

Apart from this, the phone rocks. Can anyone please help?

showbox.cn ?

This one of these apps that's supposed to stream TV channels and movies for "free"? If so we can't really assist with that because of copyright infringement, forum rules.

It's not just that. It's any app. I like to watch various things including sky sports, which is part of my package with VF. On my s4 I could wirelessly send it to my tv with allshare. It appears the s6 edge no longer has it.

Anyone? Please?

So you're in the UK or Ireland, and doing things legally and by the book? If it's something like Sky Sports which is a paid subscription, might be worth contacting them and see what they have to say about it. The S6 Edge is a new device with a new version of Android, so there could well be issues and the apps need updating and fixing.

I had experience of my father's Sky subscription in the UK last year, Sky Go on his Samsung Tab it's fine, but on my Chinese, rooted Oppo Find 7 with Cyanogenmod, it didn't want to know at all.

Which "Showbox" streaming are you actually talking about? Because the one I know is Chinese and completely illegal outside of the PRC.

My sky subscription is a free one I got with my package with vodafone. Perfectly legal and above board.

I understand the forum rules regarding certain 3rd party apps so I won't discuss them. It's more of me wanting to know where samsung allshare disappeared too!

Linking my phone to my tv is possible as I have done it with tvbluetooth and WiFi direct. Both if these were also preinstalled on the s4 but I never used because of allshare.

Does Vodafone give you all the Sky Sports Channels? I'd a similar thing with Orange when they had swappables, considering Sky Sports costs upwards of £20, it was magic.

Anyhoo, Allshare isn't on the Play Store, but searching for it I foung this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.companion

Does that look like it would do the same sort of thing?

The sky subscription I get is only for sky sports 1 and 2 plus SS news. You can up grade to all sports for an extra £5 per month which isn't bad I reckon.

As for the link, tried it Before asking here. Failed miserably.

Cheers though
