Galaxy s6 front camera lags.

Hello.
So recently i bought samsung galaxy s6. My first android and Samsung phone!

Issue i am facing is that front camera is not as smooth as iphones front cam , it lags by lag i mean when you move your camera around it feels laggy not very smooth specially in low light it lags frame rate drops to teens.

But wierd thing is camera works fine in video mode or if i add any effects it becomes smooth .

Guys am worried . Is it my phone fault or it was supposed to be like that?

It's a feature.

How's the focusing? Do you find it keeps hunting for focus? Mine does. I cannot use OCR apps as it's always hunting.

It's not faulty. The front facing camera on the S6 takes by far the best low light pictures. The lag you are experiencing is just the phone processing the data to give you the best possible lower light shot.
