Help Galaxy S6

I am new here i am sorry if i am in the wrong area, I have a new Galaxy S6 also my first one, never had a galaxy phone so i am excited but there are something i cannot get fixed ok...first off i have not downloaded anything yet and it is not rooted also most features are disabled. when i hit the power button to turn phone off but not shut down just like go to stand by or what term it is, the screen will go black but when i tilt it or shake it the screen lights up again. It does this almost every time if i wait it wont but right after i put it to stand by and set it down on the table it will light up again. my model number is SM-S907vl android version 6.0.1 i am not sure what other info is needed but if someone has an idea what is wrong please let me know.

You may have a feature on your phone
known as "Gesture wake up" enabled navigate to Settings -> Accessibility -> Dexterity and interaction -> Gesture wake up. To check it.

There is and i have that off so it can't be that...
