Help Galaxy S7 Edge: dm-verity verification failed (need help)

I am a complete Android noob (switched from Iphone) and I need help solving my issue. please be patiant and explain things :)

I am from the UK, my Phone model is the galaxy S7 edge. I bought it from a lady on Gumtree. The model number is SM-G935F. I belive the phone is unlocked as it supports my Vigin sim however, when the phone booted for the first time the default laguage is German and it came pre-installed with O2 bloatware which I removed completly.

It all started a few days ago when I decided to root my phone. I rooted it sucessfully using odin. I checked a root checker app to see if it was rooted and it said it was. int the end, I decided to unroot it the same day becuase I wasnt sure if I liked being rooted.
I went on to superSU and i pressed the button that unroots your phone and it said it would restart my phone when it was done. the phone turned off, the the Samsung logo apeared however it would not boot and was stuck in a complete bootloop. I went on to the recovery menu and I wiped the cache and that didn't work, so I factory reset my whole phone and that still didn't work. It was completly stuck in a bootloop. I tried re-rooting it on odin and suprisingly it worked and my phone booted up (now completly factory reset).
now my phone was rooted again so I went on to superSU and tried the unroot again but I had the same issue. I rerooted it again however this time when I checked the root checker app to see if my phone was rooted it said it wasnt this time. even though I technically had just re-rooted it in order to get it out tof the bootloop I explained earlier. I didnt know what to do so I just deleted superSU and tried to forget about it however when I go in to recovery mode on my phone it displays:

"dm-verity verification failed"

in the bottom left corner.

right now my phone is functional but all I want to do is factory reset it and have it completly unrooted. I want it to be like I just took it out the box first time. If anyone can tell me how to get it to the state please help me.

Thank you in advance, Jake ;)

These links are great and all...but as I said I;'m new and to be honest I have no idea what to do. Even if I read what it says in those links im still confused. Please can someone help me with simple but clear explinations. like a step by step guide.
im sorry om not trying to be difficult, as I said I just want my phone back to factory then i'm 100% happy. Thanks.

You should be able to flash the stock firmware with Odin which will completely wipe the phone and reinstall the entire OS from scratch.

Gimme a bit and I'll see if I can dig out the appropriate links for you.

Thank you soooo much! That is very kind of you!

EDIT: but can I ask, Will this also un-root my phone?

Download the correct firmware from here - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G935F/

You'll need to create a free account and the downloads are mega slow apparently, but that's the most legit place for firmware.

I've also found instructions for flashing here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065

I cant actually find my software version there. My phone in the settings says my phone is Baseband Version: G935FXXU1APEQ

that version is not listed there? if i install a different version what will happen? like say if I install the UK BTU firmware? My country is UK and I found out that BTU means its an unlocked stock from Samsung firmware? the only difference is that the baseband number with the firmware and my phone dont match. the actual model number "SM-G935F" does match with my phone.

should I install that one?

You definitely don't want to flash the wrong firmware. If you can be patient I can try to summon the guru on such things.
@ironass

Says here that is a Greek phone.

Greece (Cosmote)(COS) SM-G935F Galaxy S7 edge 6.0.1 G935FXXU1APEQ

I dont think my phone is Greek however, the Baseband you just listed does match my own. If I was to install that Greek firmware even though I'm in the UK would that do anthing bad to my phone? I also have a UK Virgin SIM card installed in my phone currently. if you can get the guru you mentioned that would be great thank you. I will be patiant. there is no rush currently as my phone works fine at the moment. Thank you very much for your help so far.

I'd you need more information just let me know. These pics should tell you everything about my phone and I didn't post the personal bit like you asked.

EDIT: ok I found something pretty important, I just realised that the number I was trying to match was the "Baseband Version". Thats why I was getting the Greek version.

From the pictures I posted I can see that my PDA Version is: G935FXXU1APGG
My CSC Version is: G935FTEF1APG1

when I matched these numbers up with the firmware on the SamMobile website it lead me to the O2 Germany Firmware which makes sense because as I said, my phone came with german O2 bloatware which I uninstalled and the default language setting was German. I think its safe to flash this firmware but can someone please confirm first just to be sure. Thank you
