When inserting the SIM Card and MicroSD card in the Galaxy S7 you'll need to know a few details like which way the cards face and how to open the tray.

This is the general layout of the SIM Card and MicroSD card tray:

And this is how you can access the SIM slot on the Galaxy S7:

SOME REGIONS HAVE DUAL SIM!

If your phone has Dual-SIM you can use the 2nd slot as a 2nd SIM slot INSTEAD of MicroSD card.

Keep in mind that you cannot use the 2nd slot for a SIM and MicroSD simultaneously. It must be one of these two configurations:

I just bought a Galaxy S7 to use on the xfinity mobile network. They told me there is not way to add a SIM card andthat I would have to use some of machine they have to transfer the data from the SIM card I currently have to the phone. Is that true? Here it says, there is a place on the top of the phone. I dont have phone with me so I cant check it. Can you verify?

Is it a dual-SIM or single-SIM S7 you've got there? Because with the dual-SIM you can't have a second SIM and micro-SD in simultaneously, it's one or t'other.

The S7 takes nano-SIM size, as shown in @Rob OP. But if your SIM is too large then it has to be trimmed with a SIM punch, or you obtain an appropriately sized replacement SIM from your carrier. However most recent SIMs do press-out right down to nano-SIM sized, so probably worth checking that.

What phone are you coming from? If it's an old phone with a standard sim card, it's probably not compatible with xFinity.
