Messages by text. Every time I receive a Text from one particular Contact a Bell with a line a cross appears alongside their name and no message sound is played. As far as I can see this happens with no other Contacts and each time I get a message from them the Text sound is heard.

Tried  everything to remove Bell/ Line without success. Any help to do this much appreciated. Phone has latest update installed.

Go into messaging, select the conversation that is giving you issues and open it. Once open press the menu button (3 horizontal lines) and at the bottom you will see a bell with "notification" click on it.
