Galaxy S8: How to make apps use full screen

The Galaxy S8 has a taller display than most phones. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio, which means there is extra screen real estate. Most apps use the full screen correctly, but if you see empty space you can force apps to use full screen.
  1. Go to Settings > Display
  2. Select Full screen apps
  3. Toggle the apps you want to be fullscreen
